The Pipeline is a project to take York waste down through the GTA and the Greenbelt to be disposed in the Onatrio Lake. Most of the pipeline has been built, the remaining part to be built is through the Greenbelt and down towards the lake. It has become known now that the final phase of the pipeline has been approved and is going ahead right through the Bob Hunter Memorial Park. Not only will this trample on a individuals legend who future generations can look up to, but the larger environmental effects have not even been taken into consideration into this project.
